2023 – The Spring awaits…

2023 is no doubt going to be another challenging year for us tench anglers. It will be interesting to see what the weed levels are like in the pits in Spring. There was certainly a lot around in the Autumn but the December freeze may well have had a significant impact. Needless to say tench anglers are a resourceful lot and realise that every season has its own issues be it weed, unseasonal  weather or even the past pandemic.

 

Busy Calendar Of Events 2023

The Tenchfishers have a busy year with Fish-ins planned at top line tench venues through the key season commencing April through June.  The venues include Linear Manor Farm, Carp Society Horseshoe Lake, Medway Valley Fishery (Big and Trout lakes) and the renowned Farnham Angling Society’s, Mill Lane.  We will also be revisiting Sywell and Bawburgh.  (To access these events you will need to be a current member. Memberships works out to around just 10p a dayand you can join online).

 

2023 National Tench Championships  – Open To Non Members

A major event is our Tenchfishers National Championships scheduled for May 12 -14 2023 fishing on the 26 acre Linear Oxlease venue that has produced specimens  to 12lb.  We have ten members competing and are offering 24 places to non members!  This is your chance to challenge our top team!  The entry will be £135.00 per person.  The prize fund totals £1000 with TackleBox vouchers and trophies for the Top 3 competitors. The overall winner will also receive a pair of Harrison specialist rods.
