National Tench Championships

To be held over a long weekend during the peak tench season at a fantastic venue. Linear Oxlease has produced tench up to 12lb and many specimens are landed there each season.  We have 24 places available to fish alongside our members on this 34 swim venue.

Gates open at 8am on Friday May 12 2023 and registration is from 10am at our main marquee. The competition will be run from 12.00 Friday (May 12) to pack down at midday on the Sunday (May 14).

Great event – Great Prizes

The prize fund total includes £500 of TackleBox vouchers and a pair of Harrison Specialist rods worth £550.. All competitors will receive Goody Bags kindly donated by our event sponsors.  In addition the Top 3 competitors will receive a handcrafted trophy.

10 runners up will take home event branded T Shirts.

Tickets are £135.00 for each competitor.  

Your first step is to REGISTER HERE.  The Tenchfishers will contact all successful applicants by the end of February 2023 to advise them if they have a place.  Payment details will be provided at that time and funds must be received no later than 11/03/23. Your rod will be reserved only up to that payment deadline.  Once funds are received we will email you the Championship Joining Pack and our Terms/Conditions for the event.
