Could I ask you pop a small post up confirming you have paid.
I will update list to reflect who has paid weekly.
We will hold the draw for swims at 9.00am Fri 9th June.
Kim Watson normally does breakfast rolls on the Friday prior to draw so sustenance will be on offer!
We will peg the reservoir so it will be a swim draw, for example number 1 out of the hat gets first choice and so on.
I and the team of helpers will be down at Sywell the day before Thurs 8th to set the event up.
Anyone who wishes to travel down the day before is welcome and there is an area you can bivvy up where we hold the draw and social events adjacent to the top anglers car park.
There is a good size CO-OP in Earls Barton, very good chip shop, Chinese and Indian takeaways which are 5 mins drive away.
There is also a very good cafe on site in the lower car park by the Rangers office.
Toilet facilities are also situated in the lower car park and will be open for the duration of the event throughout the weekend,
I will organise car park passes with Geoff the Ranger for the duration of the weekend for those attending.
These will be issued as and when attendees turn up or at the draw.
Please be aware the car park wardens are very keen to say the least.
We will as usual limit the number of attendees to circa 35 with some double swims available.
It is worth packing waders as some of the margin areas at Sywell are shallow and it will help if you wish to rake your swim.
As usual the proceeds of the fish in will go into THA Sywell fund for future stockings.
Finall, it was always the late David Watsons vision to have anglers once again fishing this most iconic of Tench Fishing venues catching specimen Tench.
For those who have attended previous events you all know how much our efforts mean to the Watson family. It is always a very special few days and there is always the chance of catching the fish of a lifetime it’s only one bite away at Sywell.
If anyone has any queries regarding the event then please don’t hesitate and get in touch.
All best and look forward to seeing you there in June.
Daffers
