Treasurers Report – Are we rich or poor?
Quite rich actually!! – with just under £65,0000 in the bank of which £5000 is ring fenced for NTHA. £30,000 required to sustain group year to year. Subscription income increases to £13721 in 2022 (£12616 in 2021). Significant spend noted for our IT, Level 2 coaches, Bulletin and new website. Tenchfisher spend per member is in line with subscription at £25.02 and was £24.65 in 2017 so some cost savings evident. Presented figures are subject to audit confirmation
Membership Update – Do We Stay The Course?
Well 87% of us do as we have a churn rate of 13% ( around 60 members) but these are usually replaced by new recruits. For example we have gained 66 members since last AGM (2021). Current membership total is 495 and close to the 500 “critical mass” top end figure. Kent, Surrey, NW and Home Counties N are the 4 biggest regions.
Our Loyal Sponsors – Update From Rabo’
Please see update from Steve Rabson elsewhere in TenchCentral on this website. Special note accorded to The Tackle Box for their long term and very generous support.
Tenchfisher Bulletin – Editor PJ updates us on his latest production
Due out for around November 18. Please make sure your address is current or you might miss out on PJ’s latest. Production is now by BIG Design – Daniel Foster. This is a new arrangement and due to re-formatting bulletin and inflation, cost per bulletin likely to rise to £8.50 a copy from £7.50 ( best estimate). New writer Ed Jackson and established contributor John Syer win £50 vouchers for their latest contributions detailing fishing exploits at Horseshoe (Jackson) and Sywell (Syer). Members were asked if they would prefer a pdf to the printed version but this attracted little interest. PJ looked happy!
Catch Returns – Have you submitted yours?
There is still time so go to Catch Returns here and make a return. By December 15 please. Don’t miss out on our annual catch report summary!
