Tenchfishers Regional Organiser Dave Watson presenting Sywell Ranger Geoff Power with an underwater camera kit at a recent function organised by the Friends of Sywell.
The camera kit is intended for educational use by children using the country park. The money to pay for the kit was raised by members of the Tenchfishers group at a fish-in held by the group on the reservoir 5th/6th June this year. This fish-in had been re-scheduled from 2009 after the tragedy that took place in the reservoir, which had closed the park for two weeks.

The Aspen Lake Rake
The "Aspen Lake Rake" is a revolutionary invention intended to supersede the "Rake on the rope". The rake is retailed as standard with a 28" wide head and a 30' sectional handle. The handle can be extended by adding 3' sections and has been successfully tested up to 100' long.
This rake is absolutely ideal for clearing areas of thick weed, thus encouraging fish to move in and forage for food on the bottom.
